         Powerful Tools For Gentle Healing

Bitter Melon
Ingredients

Bitter Melon     500 mg - 100 vegetable capsules

Bitter Melon is intended to be used to supplement the diet when following programs designed to maintain blood sugar levels. It contains three anti-HIV proteins: alpha- and beta momorcharin, and MAP-30, and charantin, beta-D-Sitosterl-beta-D-glucoside, 5,25-Stigmastadien-3-beta-D-glucoside, serotonin, and many kinds of amino acids.
In our Bitter Melon Extract, we use the whole plant; leaves, seeds, vine and melon. Research has found that the leaves are nutritious sources of calcium, magnesium, potassium, phosphorus and iron; both the edible fruit and the leaves are great sources of the B vitamins.

Recommended Dosage: 2 to 10 capsules per day.

Start by taking 1 capsule in the morning and the evening for the first week. Then, take 2 capsules in the morning and the evening for the second week. If needed, increase to 3 capsules in the morning and 2 capsules in the evening for the third week.

WARNING: NOT TO BE USED DURING PREGNANCY.

Ingredients

HY- 2 - St. John's Wort     750 mg - 150 vegetable capsules

HY 2 - St. John's Wort has a long history of use in traditional cultures, used in supporting a positive mental outlook and supported by studies indicating it has antiviral/antibacterial properties.

HY 2 - St. John's Wort contains a specific group of beneficial constituents called naphthodianthrones, especially hypericin and pseudohypericin, and a wide variety of flavonoids.

Recommended Dosage: Your health care provider should make this decision. The following may be helpful as points of reference. This extract contains at least 2.25 mg of mixed hypericins per capsule. In most cases, HY 2 - St. John's Wort takes 10 days to become effective, still others may take 4 weeks before results are seen. It has been confirmed that hypericin is bioavailable when taken orally.

For Depression: Studies suggest that 2 - 5 mg’s of hypericin is optimal to support these effect.

For Bacterial or Viral Infections: Prudent practitioners tend to limit the dosage to under 20 mg (most frequently 10 mg) per day. Other current studies show higher doses can be tolerated by the body – all administered under doctor’s guidance. A 30 days supply can be achieved by taking 5 capsules daily (= 11.25 mg mixed hypericins).
